Erin Branscum – Artist Bio

Erin Branscum is a muralist, painter, and photographer based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Her work explores the profound connection between humans and landscapes, with a focus on documenting her personal relationship with the environment. Erin’s art captures moments from her outdoor adventures, whether biking, hiking, skiing, rafting, or simply playing outside. She employs bright colors and textured paint applications to create engaging artworks that invite viewers to take a closer look. Her pieces are known for their peaceful, fun, familiar, and impressionistic qualities.

Erin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art with a Certification in Business Foundations from the University of Texas. She also earned a Master’s in Education from Western Colorado University and has dedicated the past five years to teaching art to Kindergarten through 8th-grade students in the Steamboat Springs community. Now, Erin is grateful to devote her time to creating artwork, painting murals, and embracing the beauty of her hometown.

Kristina Petrash – Artist Bio

Kristina Petrash attained her Fine Arts degree from Grand Valley State University in 2017. Following her graduation, she relocated to Steamboat Springs to immerse herself in the mountainous landscape and the natural beauty surrounding the area. The Valley’s vibrant art community deeply resonates with Kristina, and she feels privileged to be part of its dynamic artistic experiences, from participating in the Steamboat Farmer’s Market to showcasing her work in various local galleries.

Kristina’s primary mediums are printmaking and painting. Her art captures the natural splendor that envelops her throughout the seasons, creating visual connections by intertwining diverse natural elements. Nature has always been her chief inspiration, and as her work continues to evolve, so too will the ways in which nature manifests within it.
