CT Scanner Campaign
Help us keep healthcare close to home by supporting our campaign to fund the replacement of the CT Scanner at UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center!
The current CT was installed in 2010 and was anticipated to have a useful life of 10 years. Thanks to continued maintenance, the machine continues to function well. However, Siemens, the manufacturer, will stop manufacturing parts for our CT on Dec. 31, 2023 and cannot guarantee they would be able to fix the equipment after that date. For this reason, the Foundation is raising funds for a new CT scanner. For more information click HERE.
Alpine Insurance Brokers Golf Tournament benefitting YVMC Foundation
We are excited to announce that Alpine Insurance Brokers has chosen Yampa Valley Medical Center Foundation to be the beneficiary of funds raised during their August 25th, 2023 golf tournament. The first annual AIB For a Cure will take place at the Haymaker golf course, and donated funds will benefit the UCHealth Jan Bishop Cancer Center. For more information, please visit their website.
Community Health Benefit Fund Recipients, 2023
We are excited to announce that we awarded $300,000 in grants ranging from $4,000 to $50,000 in the 2023 grant cycle. The areas of focus this year were access to health care, mental health, and substance use disorders.

New Cribs in Infant Room at GrandKids Child Care Center
Thank you to an anonymous donor for funding the purchase of eight new cribs for our GrandKids Child Care Center infant room! Two of these cribs are specifically designed for emergency situations in which evacuations are necessary and are used during fire drills. These two cribs have larger, stronger wheels to ensure safe travel in variable conditions including snow, rain, and mud. While we hope we never need to use these cribs at their full potential, we are grateful to provide our employee’s families with these updated and safer accommodations.
Enterprise Tax Zone Reminder
Remember – any donation of $250 or more to the YVMCF may qualify for up to a 25% Enterprise Zone Tax Credit. If you plan to file Colorado state taxes for 2023 and made a qualifying donation in 2023, please visit our website for more details on this tax incentive.
